(November 17, 2021, Shenzhen, China) -- Recently, OPPO Watch Free, a new smart watch of OPPO equipped with OLED display driver chip of Chipone Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Chipone), was officially released. Equipped with a 1.64-inch AMOLED screen in front, the watch features 16.7 million colors and pixel density of up to 326PPI, supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and presents rich and charming colors. The screen can present favorable visual effect even under the bright light outdoors giving credit to the powerful performance of OLED display driver chip ICNA3310 independently developed by Chipone.

Featuring high efficiency, high resolution, fast transmission speed and low power consumption, ICNA3310 can empower the accurate and dedicate presentation of static and dynamic images by small-sized screens, clearly reproducing color and details of the image. In the meantime, the unique refresh rate control technology that is accurate to even 1Hz can reduce the refresh rate under AOD mode and prolong the terminal life with guaranteed color accuracy, and improve the users’ wearing experience in combination with the gamma design. Therefore, ICNA3310 has been put into mass production after extremely professional and strict tests of OPPO. In addition to smart wearable terminals, the OLED display driver chip developed by Chipone can be applied for smart phones as well, which can effectively solve such problems as AMOLED screen consistency, brightness attenuation caused by near and far RC of AMOLED panel, and screen burning of AMOLED, reduce power consumption of screen, and achieve such features as enhanced color management, while improving the module yield, AMOLED screen resolution and dynamic contrast.
